Rim Rock Drive, the road going over the Colorado National Monument, is one of the most scenic drives in Colorado. The more than 20 mile road that winds up one side of the Monument and down the other side, is a popular, challenging ride for road bicyclists. There are also many hiking and mountain bike trails along the way and camping at the Saddlehorn Camp Ground near the Visitor's Center, on the West end of the Monument.
